  1. Facilitated individual psychotherapy and psycho-educational groups for inpatients, outpatients, and family members.  Perform psychological consultation, psychodiagnostic evaluations, and ongoing cognitive behavioral therapy for individuals and families with functional impairments due to physical trauma or chronic illnesses.

Associate Research Scientist/Therapist, Institute for Trauma and Stress, NYU School of Medicine New York, NY (9/2004-5/2005)

  1. Provided ongoing weekly cognitive behavioral therapy (16-20 sessions) for clients with PTSD secondary to childhood abuse (physical, sexual, assault) and clients with PTSD secondary to mass violence (9/11) in the context of grant funded research studies.
  2. Conducted comprehensive structured psychological assessments in the context grant funded research studies.

Therapist, Center for Stress and Anxiety Disorders, Albany, NY (8/1997-8/2001)

  • Served as outpatient therapist for clients presenting with various health and anxiety disorders, including headache, chronic pain, IBS and PTSD.  Treatment included cognitive behavioral therapy, biofeedback, and relaxation.
  • Conducted comprehensive structured psychological assessments in the context grant funded research studies.
