Psychologist

I am a licensed psychologist with experience working with children and adolescents as young as three years old. I am able to provide psychotherapy, psychological evaluations and consultations for children and their families. My approach to psychotherapy is strength based and collaborative. I see my role as a therapist as providing the environment and support to draw out those abilities in children and adolescents.
I believe that a crucial part in helping children grow and thrive also involves a strong collaborative partnership with their parents or caregivers. I actively consult with parents and involve them in the therapeutic process. Many children are extremely resilient and able to cope effectively with grief, loss, trauma and other difficulties given a therapeutic environment.
I received my doctoral degree from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia with a concentration in marriage and family therapy. As a pre-doctoral intern I provided individual psychotherapy and evaluations for children and adolescents with a history of trauma, behavioral difficulties, depression and anxiety. Following the completion of my degree I worked with a community mental health center providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults.
