Psychologist – Provided psychotherapy to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who exhibited a wide range of presenting problems, including but not limited to depressive and anxiety disorders, acute stress and posttraumatic stress disorders, drug and alcohol problems, eating disorders, personality disorders, and adjustment impairments.  Triage and on call services were also a critical component of clinical services offered.  As one of the licensed staff, regular supervision was provided to the trainee staff, which included graduate externs, pre-doctoral interns, and post-doctoral candidates.  Furthermore, supervision was provided to pre-doctoral interns on the execution of full psychological evaluations.  Collaborated with multi-disciplinary staff on ongoing cases, particularly those involving challenging and at risk students.  Offered various outreach services, such as depression and eating disorder screening days, informational sessions with international students, and time/stress management workshops.  Maintained referral database and regular contact with providers in the area.

Psychologist - Provided individual and family therapy to child and adolescent clients who exhibited sexual behavior problems and/or experienced sexual trauma.  Supervised clinicians who conducted Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluations with child and adolescent clients who were sexually victimized and/or displayed sexual behavior problems.  Participated in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings to evaluate clients’ treatment goals, program participation, and discharge criteria.  Coordinated clients’ treatment with social service agencies, schools, community mental health agencies, and the juvenile justice system.  Conducted psychosexual assessments with students in the Philadelphia Public School District who were identified as exhibiting potential sexual behavior problems and provided appropriate recommendations and interventions. 

Counseling Center, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD 2000-2001 
Intern - Provided therapy and case management services to ethnically and culturally diverse clients with various diagnoses (i.e., anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment disorder, eating disorders, bereavement, history of sexual abuse, and personality disorders).  Provided career counseling to undergraduate and graduate students with vocational concerns.  Presented outreach workshops focused on several topics including sexual assault/abuse, career exploration, depression, eating disorders, and grieving.  Provided daytime on-call services and crisis intervention.

Practicum Extern - Conducted individual therapy and provided case management services to clients with a variety of presenting problems (i.e., depression, adult children of alcoholics (ACOH) issues, sexual assault, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, and attention deficit disorder).  Co-facilitated sexual assault/abuse survivors group with senior staff member.  Provided outreach services to the campus community focusing on alcohol and drug abuse issues.

Practicum Extern -  Provided individual, group, family therapy and case management services to clients enrolled in therapeutic special education program with various diagnoses (i.e., depression, attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity, oppositional defiant disorder, and history of sexual and physical abuse).  Conducted full psychological batteries as part of students’ triennial evaluations.  Presented at yearly planning and placement team meetings to discuss students’ progress.

Center of Alcohol Studies, Rutgers University, Piscataway, New Jersey.  1999-2000      
Research Assistant - Provided data entry services for a study examining the effects of individual and couples therapy with female alcoholics involved in intimate relationships.  Received training on the rationale and administration of various instruments utilized in the study, i.e. SCID-I, SCID-II, and Timeline Follow Back. 

Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology, Hartford, Connecticut. 1996-1999 Research Assistant - Provided managerial assistance to supervisor and conducted literature searches on sibling relationships and the aesthetics of therapy.
